Over my life I have had an ongoing interest in the creation of unique crafts.  My explorations have led to me developing expertise in the creation of hand knitted garments and objects; as well as explorations in stitchery, weaving, batik and pottery.  More recently, I have been exploring the potential of felting hand knitted articles, and the unique possibilities to be found in beading, buttoning and stitchery for the adornment of creations made.

These latter explorations have resulted in the creation of collections of felted items, such as bags and bowls of varying shapes and sizes, as well as items for little people.  The latter include beanies and shoosies for the young child, as well as felted animals of varying shapes and sizes, which appeal to adults and the young alike.  Multiple explorations have been undertaken using Australian and international wools, as different texture and colour combinations have been investigated and discovered.

The uniqueness of my work lies in its inspiration from nature.  The beauty of our world is intentionally captured and explored through the use of wool and fibres.  Texture and colour are essential to all works and quality, through the attention to each and every detail, is fundamental in all completed creations.
