Ordering, Delivery & Returns

Orders

All orders are ‘made to order’.  This means it takes a little extra time for your order to leave our warehouse, but it means that your purchase is made especially for you!  We will have your order to Australia Post within 4 working days.

Because we are working with so many different stallholders, every now and again, we may experience a small hiccup in getting your order out within the 4 working days.  If this occurs, we will let you know as soon as we know!

Postage & Handling

All purchases made, be they within Tasmania, the remainder of Australia (we call it ‘the mainland’!) and internationally, will be delivered by Australia Post.  

Postage rate will vary, depending on the weight and size of the item/s purchased and the location to which it is to be delivered.  Postage will be calculated at the checkout in the Shopping Cart.

Civic Homespun Market will not be held responsible for any additional taxes incurred by the receiving country. Please check your local customs procedures regarding taxes.

Returns

Please choose carefully!  We are unable to refund your item if you change your mind about the purchase you have made.

Refunds will not be given under any circumstance.

Replacement products will be sent out in the case of the following circumstances:

  • The product is faulty
    A ‘faulty’ product is an item that is broken, has a manufacturing fault or does not perform as stated on the website or accompanying packaging instructions.
  • The product does not look in any way like the product that was depicted in the photograph on the website
    As our products are handmade, unlike mass produced items, each item may have its own characteristics.  Stallholders will endeavour to ensure that the item is the same as the item pictured on the website.  Very small variances may occur and we ask that you respect this small variance and consider that you have a special, one-off item.
    Colours of products may vary a little as photos are sometimes unable to capture the exact colour match of the item.  The photo on the website shows an indication of the colour that the item will be.  We take no responsibility for an item not being exactly the same shade of colour as pictured on our website.
    Should the item be completely different from the photo on our website, we will replace the item.
  • The product was damaged during postage
    We will make every effort to ensure that your purchase is packaged in a way that ensures you will receive it intact.  We realise that due to circumstances beyond our control, sometimes breakages occur during postage.

Please inform Civic Homespun Market of your faulty product within 7 days of receipt of your order.  Email us at tameeka@civichomespunmarket.com.au or call us on 0417 627 538.  We will endeavour to right the situation as soon as possible by sending you a replacement item.
